The Free Press Cup enters its 104th year in 2011 with the help of three sponsors; Barnwell Services, Fatboys and Talkingbowls.com have all agreed to support the competition resulting in a total of £900 prize money.

The competition returns to its traditional format of 6 home 6 away with the final being played as 12 a side on a neutral green. The £25 entry fee works out to just over £2 per player. A team that wins two games and makes it through to the quarter finals is guaranteed their money back, Winners receive £500, loosing finalists £200 and loosing semi finalists £50.
